One of the struggles I have as a mom of 5 kids is keeping the clutter under control in my home. I seem to have periods when I do really well, and other times when my house is a wreck. Does this sound familiar? As moms we are so busy with so many things. There is so much that needs to be done each and every day and often there is no time for the things that we want to get done.
One of my projects for this coming year is to work on decluttering my home. I find that clutter around my house causes me stress. I find the clutter around my home causes me to be so cluttered in my own head that I can't get anything done.
I have been working on a system for the past several months, but a few weeks ago I came across a blog that will be doing a challenge in the new year. A 52 week challenge to declutter our homes. It seemed like a great opportunity. The work of planning has already been done, she offers a printable calendar that helps to keep you focused and on track. It appears she has thought of everything. There is even aFacebook group to help keep everyone motivated and working towards our goals throughout the year.
My plan here at the Laundry Pile is to write a post once a week letting you know how my decluttering has gone for the previous week. Did I get it done? Or maybe I didn't get it done? I will let you know how the system is working for me and our crazy house. Maybe it will even help to get my laundry pile a little bit more under control!
Will you join me? The links above will take you to the other site where you can sign up to get all the materials. As a note. I am NOT affiliated with Home Storage Solutions in any way. I will receive NO compensation for blogging about this challenge. I just think this is an area I need to work on for the benefit of my family, and I think I have found a good resource that I want to share with you all.
