I am excited to share with you this beautiful book. It will Be Okay is a children's book written by Lysa Terkeurst, and illustated by Natalia Moore. I have read a lot of children's books and once in a while you come across one that touches even the parent's heart. This book walks you through a very important lesson of trusting God in the changes of life, and the fear that comes along the way. I read this book to all my kids, and they range in age from almost 7 to 19 months. This book appealed to all of my kids. I can see this book as one we will read a lot.
I really found the message of the book to be touching. In fact at times it almost brought me to tears because Lysa Terkeurst takes a really important message and communicates it in a way that is so easy to grasp. One phrase that really touched me was:
"Truth is Truth in the tough things you face. Confusing times in the messy, hard place."
Times can be confusing and messy even for adults, and this is a sweet way to remind us to put our trust in the Lord.
The artwork in this book is so beautiful. I love how it doesn't look the same as so many books tend to these days. I love to find books that have unique and creative artwork. The pictures in this book would also make lovely artwork for the walls of any child's room. [I don't recommend tearing apart the book to do that, though! ;-)]
I received this book free from the publisher through theBookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
